Soline is one of the students sponsored by Child Care Plus/Haiti. In October 2020, while preparing a meal, an explosion occurred in their home due to a propane leak near the stove flame. Four members of his family were burned, including her father, mother and one of her younger brothers. They were taken to the hospital run by Doctors Without Borders. They have done an extraordinary job to relieve their pain and for skin grafts.
And now, five months later, Soline has returned to school. She was burned all over her body. Even the most fervent of Christians would find it difficult to accept this change in appearance. Pray that her scars will disappear and that God will heal her completely in her body and soul.
Fritz-Berson is Soline’s brother.
This is Fritz-Berson on the road to recovery. He went back to school. He is in grade 4 and waiting to be sponsored. His condition at first was less severe than Soline’s.
Sponsors often wonder what happens to students after Grade 13. Some continue their studies, which is the case for these three medical school’ students in 3rd,1st and 4th grades. Jeanwill was one of 125 to be selected from 11,000 candidates. He was awarded a scholarship from the Haiti State University. We also have other CCP graduates who study abroad on a scholarship.
Fire may mean destruction, but it can also mean purification and power. You will be baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire. Luke 3, 16. The baptism of the Holy Ghost has revolutionized our lives. If you have not received it, seek it eagerly.
Thanks for your prayers and gifts.

The school needs 50 new desks and benches to give more space between students. See how well men are working.
