The war in Ukraine is horrific and as satanic as any other war. We all feel concerned about this situation. During the 2nd World War, Michel’s father was a sergeant major in the Canadian army. He left Canada with a battalion of 1,000 men that he led. They came back three alive and his dad lost an eye and a leg while putting his foot on a mine. We must not stop praying for peace in Ukraine and help the victims. You may make a donation through ERDO.
Michel had laser surgery to remove a cataract in his left eye with a lens inserted. His last appointment with the ophthalmologist revealed that his eyesight has improved markedly and for now, he only needs reading glasses. We bless the Lord for this.
For my part, I will have a day surgery on March 25 or 30, 2022. Your prayers are well appreciated.
Life goes on in Haiti despite all the kidnappings, strikes and demonstrations. Medical staff have observed a three-day strike because too many of their colleagues are victims of kidnapping. Pray that the tension may decrease.
The evangelization of towns and villages continues with evangelist Jean-Benoît and his team showing the Jesus film.
Bibles for adults and biblical books for children are distributed.
According to Wikipedia, the Jesus (1979) Film: ‘’Project leaders claim that it has been viewed over 5 billion times by over 3 billion people, making it one of the most watched movies of all time… (But) According to the Jesus Film Project, a research firm estimated the known viewings of the film from 1979 to 2015 as greater than 7.3 billion.’’
We have resumed the distribution of croissants and drinking water to the students of The Fortress School. Michel finds the time to manage a lot of things in my absence.
We had a youth conference. About sixty young people came. Due to the situation, we could not advertise on social networks or even distribute flyers.
Thank you for your prayers, your donations and your words of encouragement. May God give you his peace in these troubled times.
